Certainly so. The advent of internet has enabled many people to surf the net for different hearing aid manufacturers, hence the consumer is so much more aware, in the present day, of what is on the market, how much it costs and what is available. For many years I had no idea what was available and relied on one person to keep me informed and to tell me what was best for me. The world is a much smaller place now and hearing aid technology and choice of aids much improved.
